Congratulations!

You know, I kept myself from ordering two Atlantic Salts last night, just in case there was any sprint run news, sales, whatnot. Looks like I'll be using those funds to order a Lava! ...or two.

...not that I'm forgetting about the Salts... :o

Chad's knife announced as Forum Knife 2006 THE DAY AFTER CHAD'S BIRTHDAY!!! That's quite a belated birthday present!

sweet... just as soon as I dig up some cash my order will be sent in.

Wow... I didn't see that one coming. Too bad I'm short on money right now. I really would have enjoyed this one. But then again, I am a user, I will wait for the production piece to hit the shelves.

I like this trend. One forum design, One forum knife ;)

And Congrats Chad for all your efforts.... You really are one of a kind...

My Dear Friends,

I distinctly recall someone doing all but calling for my head on a plate for causing so much anxiety on the forums with the "Teaser" thread. :D

In retrospect, I can only guess that Chad knew about this all along. Should we go after him for not telling us? LOL!

(On second thought, never mind. At the rate he is going, in ten years if you want to buy a knife from ANY manufacturer it will have to be one of his designs!)

Again, my friend, congratulations!

In fairness, Chad didn't know either! :D No one outside of Spyderco knew (and even then, only certain people knew)! I'm a good secret keeper. I'm looking forward to Chad's reaction. :D

You're taking my fun! LOL! What do I have to hassle him about now?

Seriously, I too am looking forward to Chad's reaction! He is going to be so STOKED!

I remember after the 2005 Forum Knife release some of us putting forth the suggestion of using his as-then-unnamed Spyderco design as the 2006 Forum Knife and Chad, ever polite, ever gracious, declining to even comment.

Look how far Chad has come in less than a year! :D
