Well, I suppose I'd like to see a few knives with the following names:

*Zepher
*Escapade
*Tundra

Just a few of my wacked out ideas!

Mike,

Aren't those all car names? I know that Zephyr (Mercury) and Tundra (Toyota) are, I think Escapade is too, but I am not 100%.

Java,

This sounds odd coming from the world class terrible speller (me) but it is Ukra I nian. Thank you for noticing the new tag.

Linda,

Those are vehicle names. Maybe he needs one for each vehicle, and if you bring them in for cleaning how else should you know which vehicle the <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> goes back to.

How about a Spyderco Shiden-Kaj <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Shiden-Kaj is Japanese for Purple Thunder and also another name of the famous Japanese WWII-fighterplane 'Zero'.

How about a knife for pilots with an extra large hole, purple handle (metalic?), large clip and Harpy-like blade, designed to use in emergency-situations? For example to cut rope (of parachute) or for use in the water (after a crash).

Shiden-Kaj

Linda,

You are plumb right.....I guess those ARE all car names. (Hmmm, so that's why they sounded familer?<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) Ok, so maybe I really do need to put the Auto & RV magazines down for a while....<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Isn't that Esca(L)ade? The Cadillac SUV. I don't remember a car/truck called Escapade. Could be wrong. Anybody know?

Jaxon,

Don'r remember any Escapade vehicles. It is, however, the brand name of a libido enhancing herbal concoction - kind of a down on the farm Viagra. Hmmmmm, wonder if <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>nut had this one in mind for a fixed blade? <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Java,

ROFLAO!<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> A fixed blade, eh? Not a bad idea for the new Viagra-induced Super-Knife!<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

You crack me up, man!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>nut,

Top of the morning, Mike! There's a time and a place for a folder! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Enjoyed your post on the Why? thread. Grandad unleashed a monster there. Funny, neither Benchmade nor Gerber have returned any of my requests for information. Still waiting on Benchmade about their logo. What do you think about Delicrazy's solution on his Chameleon. Hot soapy water just doesn't wash (pardon the pun) with me. Keep on cuttin' n' postin' my sharp edged bro'!

Java,

And a bonny good 'noon to you, my good Spyderco soul-mate! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> LOL!

I agree 400% with you on the Benchmade and Gerber topic. They make a few good things, but they just don't cut it. (Was that a pun?!<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) I remember now that BM actually did respond to my inquiry for information on their company, and it only took the Customer Service guy a few short months to answer my letter! (I love Spyderco's CS!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) Anywho, I'm glad that the SpyderBug got to me first, or else I might be totin' a Bali-song with a Gerber as my back-up. (Hee hee!)

Java, I salute you, man! May your posts be a million, and your years as a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> fan be everlasting.

Take care, bro <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Mike

PS. I'm happy you liked my ditty in the "Why?" post. <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> If only my grandpa knew what he was doing on that cold, fateful day when he gave me that first introduction with that little knife....<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Muahahaha!

Well, how about the <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Web? Or maybe a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> RHP (look to the top left for acronym source)?

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

I was thinking PDF for either Poision Dart Frog or Personal Defence Folder. You could make it a slimmer blade sort of like the endura but thinner and put a bright, bright neon almost coating on the handle, blue or something of the like, make it grippy too that'd be cool. (thinking I ought to get out a sketch pad) My design specs aside I'd bet The Poision Dart Frog has yet to be used.
Dropping my two coppers into the barrel.

Poison Dart Frog, ...... hmmmmmm.

I like your idea of the neon color, or maybe a brightly anidized multi-color handle. Sheeple seem lees spooked but pretty colors.

If Poison sounds scarry what about Tropical Frog (the acronym doesn't sound as cool though, TF?)

Clink...clink... How about the Byte? <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Everyone here has been <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Bit anyhow, so why not a knife to commemorate that fact?
