Only once have I ever had the chance to ask. For some reason, noone around here carries knives. Saw a clip on a guy while I was at work, and being the curious guy I am, I just had to ask.

Turned out to be an Emerson Commander, not a :spyder: But at the time I had the Waved Endura, so we had a nice conversation about the wave.

Hasn't happened since though, everyone's so touchy around here. Every time I pull a Dodo out, and people dive for cover. ;)

I made an effort today to look for clip its, but no dice. I'll tell you though, I am surprised at how many people have never heard of spydercos. After I got my first I took it into to work to show it off. Everyone was impressed but they had never heard of the company, preferring Case and Buck. Don't get me wrong I've carried both of these brands, but I now will not trade my Spydies for any other. I'm still gonna be on the watch for clip-its on others but I imagine they will be few and far between

Yes, I try to conversate, but only when the occasion allows it. Dont talk with people carrying china cheap knives. They usually show it as it was a Sebenza, very proud. I always think of it, that these knives I carried when I was ten years old. LOL..
People that carry quality knives are very less here, its like with the good old wine.
When I spot them and its the possibility, I like to talk with them.
