What's the whole idea behind the Ayoop? In my opinion because of the strange blade shape and the "funny"hook the blade makes with the handle the knife doesn't seem very practical. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Also I haven't been able to find any info about the knife.
Something to say about that $307 Massad-->

Hi Spydutch
I don't know much about the Massad Ayoob, but when held, the blade is supposed to point naturally to where you are aiming - something like a pistol.
Put Massad Ayoob into Google, and you will find a wealth of info about the designer.

collusion repair
how do use the Massad in collusion repair?[quote="Mo C"]I think the reason some of you guys felt the price was amazing is because it was too amazing... I think there was a misunderstanding about what the seller was actually selling.. The seller starts off his description by saying he got a bunch of new old dealer stock]

defend yourself from liberals, read this book!
:spyder: Anyone who carries a knife for self-defence NEEDS to read "In the gravest extreme, the role of the firearm in personal protection." by Masaad Ayoob
Using a knife (or gun) in a self-defence situation is an application of lethal force. Knowing the material in this important book can mean the differance between walking free and serving time for manslaughter. :spyder:

Mas Ayoob designed the knife handles to replicate the angle of the knife tip to the wrist as compared to the angle of the wrist to barrel alignment on a handgun. The premises being that when thrusting with a curved tip up blade most people will not lock the wrist downward so their point of aim of the thrust is off target. With his design the point will hit target everytime without adjusting the wrist. Mas is also very fond of blade designs that resemble a fillet knife as he has told me, the fillet knife in his opinion is " best for being able to switch blade directions very fast once thrusted into the body"...I hope this helps a little...Doc
