Hi Tique!
I just send my new design to lasercutting today. It´s going to be made in RVL 34, and I think (like last time!) that this will be my new favorite fixed blade ...

Dude... 15 has to be a record<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
I think I'm gonna be happy with my Reeve's right now, although I also have some custom work on the way, just gonna take a long while to get here.
Samo... can you possibly hook me up with more info on the Darno and Perrin Bowie??? I knew the Lum Tanto was coming out, but was unaware of the others. Guess I must not have been paying attention the past month or so...
Brian_Turner, I would like to hear a bit more on the performance of the Wegner fixed blade, I have been looking at one of those recently and kinda like it's style.
OH yeah. Almost forgot, cost didn't really figure into my question, I am interested in what you use and like the most, not which is cost effective. Now I'm probably not gonna try out a Brend Model 2 anytime soon, but reasonable cost doesn't bother me.

My bedside knife is one I carried for 19 mos in Vietnam. Yup, the old KaBar USMC fighting/utility. Have to get to work on the handle, so it isn't so slick. My 'Nam knife wasn't slick at all, handle-wise.
When I'm dreaming, I have a Hossum fighter for home protection. But, until then, I have a lot of faith in the KaBar. The price is a factor, but much less so than the sentimental attachment I have to the genre.
Just got the new CRKT Polkowski/Kasper in mail yesterday. Not sold yet on the sheaths, but really like the knife.
