Little Claw,
The Pride is indeed a lot more classy then you'd think, you won't be disappointed. Plus, at least you can get one with your country's flag (Sal hint hint!)

Pride Review
As of 30. of April all locking folders are illigal to carry in public. All onehand openers are illigal. No folding blades over 7 cm. This also meen that tools (Leatherman, Victorinox, Gerber, SOG etc are illigal since their blades lock)
What do I carry... Hmmm small Case & Queens and sometimes a Busse small FB (Fx. an Active Duty) Also got a bigger cutter in my rugsack (Busse Steel Heart or one of my own designs fx.).
When I get home or go into the woods, or sailing, I wear Sebenzas or Spydies....
First time you brake the law it´s a 1000U$ fine, second time you will be charged and can be send to jail for as much as two years... INSANE!!

Do I understand that you can carry fixed blades but not folders that lock or over 7cm?! Or perhaps I misunderstood you.
If so, I'm surprised that your laws are even stricter than ours. Is this the reaction to a particular problem?
I'm interested cause I'll be visiting Copenhagen in a couple of months - the only knife I have that would be legal is an sak!
Maybe we can talk Sal into running off a few UK Penknives without a hole! (blade might be a bit long, though, do you measure edge or full blade?) And how do they define 'one handed'- I presume if it features an opening device?

It is also illigal to carry a FB while in public. However, I carry a small FB and a large while at work. I spend quite some time in the woods while at work and therefor i can explain the knives if asked by the police. You may not even own an onehandopener.... Not even for display in your own home. Thge reason is the Biker Gang problem here in Denmark. By banning the bikers toys the police can harras (didn´t get that word right, did I ?) the gangs. They can put them to jail for carrying a small edc folder if it is a onehander. The reson the public for the most part accept these laws is a couple of very sad incidents. FX. the Italien turist that got of the train in Copenhagen and was dead after a stabbing 2 hr.´s later.
Copenhagen is a wonderful (very safe!!) city, and all you really need is a SAK. The number of stabbings has not increased in the last 10 years and since 90% of the crimes are commid in affection with kitchenknives I´m guessing they won´t!!
Are you going to Copenhagen for pleasure of buisness? You should go for the tour at the Carlsberg breweri.....

Ahhh! Carlsberg... I hear the Danes hate to see it go! My first beer was a Carlsberg, given to me by my dad aged 12 (I think). Every time I drink one now, it takes me back.
Pleasure is the reason for my trip - been meaning to visit more european cities.
...I hear the Danish girls are not too bad either

Well, since your visit is in a couple of months, you should take a walk down "stroeget" It´s a long street in centrum of CpH. where no cars are allowed. Here you´ll see LOTs of Danish girls in next to nothing...
You should try going down to "Nyhavn" for the beer. It´s a area by the Kanals.
