Blade-tech, specifically the Karambit folder is a favorite in the production knife category.
As for custom blades, I personally know several makers, and cherish some of my customs far beyond any logic regarding inanimate objects, so picking a favorite is not possible. I do own multiple Strider, Dawson, and Anso knives. I have yet to commission a true one-of-a-kind custom blade made just for me. Some makers will accept such work. Perhaps a hand-forged Bagwell Bowie someday, made to fit the size of my hands.

I'd have to say benchmade would be my second choice. Love the 42 series, and have a 43 (bowie blade with a pocket clip) on the way. Also have an 805 that will soon have carbon fiber scales. Cold steel is pretty cool also, their folders remind me of really big spyderco clipits.

The brand I have the most of besides <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s is Benchmade.
I'm hooked on the AFCK models, I try to trade for every one I see reguardless of condition.
I actually prefer the older liner lock models to the Axis lock, something about the way they just glide open with no effort.
I have a box full of spare parts now from knives that were scrapped.
I also love the Mayo TNTs but I only have 2 at the moment, their S30V h/t by Paul Bos takes the most wicked egde I've found.
In the end though I always come back to my beloved <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s. Ron

I like my Victorinox Multitool and pocket knives.
Also my Kloetzli ACC and CRKT Crawford-Kasper are nice.
Future plans include a Chris Reeve Sebenza and Kloetzli Walker 03.
I would love to have all Kloetzli's but that's expensive as %*#!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
