Welcome member #0046. May your feet be warm and dry and your throat coated with your favorite refreshing drink.

And nice socks!! You will fit in nicely. Don't worry about the meaning. No singular person holds all the answers.

Esteemed MNOSD members and affiliates,

I hereby humbly submit this here request to extend if any
- the hazing/probationary/hangaround phaze for this most noble band of brothers and sisters - so that if a candidacy should open up I can wholly submit myself to it until and no sooner than an acceptable level of redemption has been achieved in your most noble collective opinion and I may or may not be accepted as a peer in your most exalted midst.

Faithfully at your disposal,

Oh max808, what a wonderful number 808 is. I remember as a child, I would think of 808 and all of its wonders. I blocked a spot on the glorious spreadsheet for #0808 officially. We have zero's Infront of our numbers for long complicated reasons. There was a great battle between 004 and *0004. Very long story, but it is very important just not important enough to discuss now.

So welcome #0808!

Bless you Most Noble Ones for your support and praise, I am honored and privileged yet undeserving of such preferential treatment so will settle for the next number in line if deemed worthy of initiation.

Hahaha, nah Max. You get a special # sir. At this time, only you and SG89 have specially allotted numerals. Unless of course you just want 0047. Your choice.

Much obliged Most Noble #0005, only with your unanimous consent shall I adopt #0047 whenever you feel I am ready for my first steps on a infinite stairway to heaven, for I ask you what kind of a man would placing myself over our founding members make me but a vain and selfserving one? Also SpyderGirl retains her exclusivity and 808 has no inherent significance personally for it was a necessary addition to differentiate harkening back to yonder days technology and a comprehensive Barry White and the Love Unlimited Orchestra LP collection. To my horror it turned out to also be a highly inappropriate reference to a college masterclass! Very grateful that you went through all those and came out the generous gentleman you are today.

Faithfully at your service,
max

Darn. I was going to ask for 0808 for my girlfriend, since the numbers look like her figure as she doesn't, and then does, then doesn't, then does, diet.

Actually, that was some years ago. When I first met her she was just "8". But people change. Could I request my girlfriend have the number 0808000000?

Too hot down here for socks this summer. Really too hot for clothes, but I'm not a cruel person so I stay clothed. :beaming-face :hot-face

I'm in So. Calif., in the direction of the desert, and it's too hot to wear anything BUT socks. I don't know why the neighbors pitch such a fit when I go outside to fetch the newspaper. I'm fully socked when I do.

^ I just do what 0005 tells me to do, so, yes. Whatever he said.

All the stuff I said about my girlfriend was made up. I don't have a girlfriend; it was a vain attempt to enhance my self esteem, but honesty is probably the best policy. I'm a recovering lieaholic, with frequent relapses. Even my avatar is a knife that doesn't actually exist. Fortunately the Nobility has helped me tell the truth, occasionally. 0808 is up for grabs, if desired.

Bolster, if you trip, we will catch you. If you fall, we will pick you up. If you lie about girlfriends in Canada, well I'm sure we have all been there. We are knife enthusiast after all.

Appreciated. And if I (or my pretend girlfriend) lose my 15V Manix, you will...? Or is only emotional support offered?

Sorry, it's just that I'm confused as to whether the secret society of MNOSD is more like a support group; or an insurance policy; or the überwealthy world manipulators that meet in Davos; or a drinking club; or the girl scouts; or the Spetsnaz; or something else.

As member #0003, I realize I should know the answer by now. But in every organization there are people who rise to the top, solely on the qualification of their incompetence.

And I think I'm qualified.

It's possible that the answer was passed to you secretly by one of the previous generation of members....so secretly that you don't know you know it, and you will unknowingly pass it on to the next generation.
