Decided to give my Manix 2 transparent Blue some love and carry it today . Since getting my Manix 2 s110v I've been neglecting her lol .Plus just got a new lanyard for little blue :D

This bad boy. Man, Spyderco knows how to do it. I've had about 15 different Para's or Para 2's over the last 10 years and this one takes the cake. Green G10 is smoooooth and the CTS-204P is just rad. Yep, it's rad. It's gnarly.

I can't wait for my green PM2 to get here. Carried my black Manix LW, my PM2, and my CruWear Millie today...oh and my Dragonfly Salt. We've had a couple pipes burst in the last few months (25 year old Grey Poly-B...terrible stuff), so we were running all new lines through the entire house. Used the M2 LW, PM2, and CruWear Millie cutting cardboard and opening plastic packages. The abuse was reserved for my SE Dragonfly Salt though...made a pretty decent drywall knife in lieu of a proper one. Used a skill saw set shallow to mark the hole (To miss any studs in the ceiling), and the Dragonfly to cut the rest of the way through. Definitely dulled the knife a fair bit, but it did WAY better than I expected, and was back to paper shaving sharpness after a few minutes on the Sharpmaker. I bought this Dragonfly with the express intent to see how SE H1 holds up to abuse, and I'm impressed! A co-worker was helping us out, and he was pretty impressed as well.

Sounds like a good knife day ! I actually bought my Bryd cara cara 2 for the the heavy duty cutting when needed . I've grown pretty fond of it it's a great knife for the money and came with a wicked edge . I've been using a cheap lanskey for sharpening . It works pretty well and I'm missing half the hair on my arm testing lol . But I foresee a Sharpmaker in my near future possibly a edge pro . But I'd rather use the extra money for more spydies plus I hear the Sharpmaker does a fine job .

Best sharpener I've come across for the money, hands down.

Haha, my first thought was, don't they have baby knife labor (labour ) laws up there? Then, glancing down at the G-10 D-fly clipped in my shirt pocket, I quickly retracted that thought -- these are in no way baby knives :o I've got to get the serrated H-1 version... then the ZDP (love that British Racing Green FRN), then the super blue...

Cool then that confirms it will be my next Spydie purchase .Ive made up my mind no more knifes until I buy the SharpMaker !
Btw that grn Pm2 you bought is going to be sweet can't wait to see the pics !

I can't seem to get this one out of my pocket unless it's for slicing or a photo op.

No pictures, but I tried my Stretch out as a steak knife for the first time tonight on some perfectly aged AAA steaks. The last 2/3 of the blade darkened a bit further and turned a bit more blue...I've also come to the conclusion that serrated steak knives are for people without sharp knives...it didn't struggle in any way shape or form.

That's to funny I actually tested out my Manix 2 s110v tonight to. Just on a simple New York steak trimmed off the fat then threw it on the barbecue and decided to use my Manix to enjoy my dinner . It cut the steak like butter before and after I was pretty impressed . Only thing I didn't like was using a paper plate to eat on so I wouldn't dull my blade lol . But as soon as my Sharpmaker arrives I'll be a little more Brave .

Compared s110v Manix to ZDP stretch for light limb lopping (really whittling off) and privet sapling removal around the yard. Both impressive. The Stretch held its own, especially since I had already dulled the Manix doing the same yesterday.
