Knifecommand.com has Japanese market Tuffram for $120 and Everest for $170. I wanted to get mine in before I posted. Everything went through smooth.

^^^ Nice snags there Rich! I can also vouch for a smooth transaction with Knifecommand. I picked up a Japanese market Ti Delica 3 from them a few months back for $100 less than the one they have listed as out of stock now - I guess they figured how rare some of their models are!

SPYDERCO MINI POLICE TITANIUM ATS-34 KEYCHAIN KNIFE up there as well for $70. I considered snagging one as well but the Workers put a hurt on my wallet.

Now that the Tasman 2 is out, do you guys think we'll start to see the Tasman 1 at discontinued prices? I've been looking a bunch and I haven't seen anything yet, though the Tasman 2 just came out a few days ago.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
In case anyone is following, Amazon asked me (again) to confirm wanting to wait for the $75 Caly 3 CF ZDP-189 I ordered fair and square. I approved. No expected shipping date. But I think they gave me a coupon code for the exact price so now it would be free - could be wrong though because I have a Prime credit card and I can't really figure out how the coupon system works.
The first time I saw a Spyderco was the early 90s at a knife shop in a mall. I can still see the SpydieHoles through that glass display cabinet. My parents wouldn't buy any of them for me... so now I buy them all. :spyder:

Did you agree to it and did you get a coupon with it?Flipping Addict wrote:I got the same email. I suspect this will go on indefinitely til most just get fed up and walk away.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
I agreed but got no coupon.
Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
I grabbed one of these at this price during their Labor Day sale. I haven't really had a chance to use it yet but the fit and finish are outstanding. I have no doubt that it would hold up to whatever you wanted to use it for but it is really an incredible and functional piece of craftsmanship.abbazaba wrote:Knifeworks has their exclusive C36CFTIP Ti Military S90V Carbon Fiber/Titanium back down to the tempting $250 for this weekend ($30 off).

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
I bought one for 102.00 a couple weeks before that. Got lucky maybe, Amazon shipped it in a few days.ConspicuousConsumption wrote:In case anyone is following, Amazon asked me (again) to confirm wanting to wait for the $75 Caly 3 CF ZDP-189 I ordered fair and square. Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
This seems like a fishy coincidence. Maybe they're trying to trick you into taking the coupon as a refund   I'd be sure to read all the fine print... but that would be odd, because they are always quick to just refund into whatever account you buy with. This gets curiouser and curiouser.ConspicuousConsumption wrote:In case anyone is following, Amazon asked me (again) to confirm wanting to wait for the $75 Caly 3 CF ZDP-189 I ordered fair and square. Amazon doesn't charge unless the item is shipped. So there is no money to refund.DougC-3 wrote:This seems like a fishy coincidence. Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Of course. I just wasn't thinking. Well, if the coupon is good and doesn't expire before the knife ships, free is of course even better than $75... if they actually come up with a knife to ship.setldown wrote:Amazon doesn't charge unless the item is shipped. Edit: Trying to think a bit more, probably they would just deduct the $75 from CC's cc (credit card) and he'd have to use the coupon code (other cc
