Thanks Michael, a friend on another forum offered it me when I expressed interest, the copper is just decorative but looks really cool in hand, I immediately put it to use on my day pack as a zipper pull. :)

It's been years since I was on this thread. It's amazing to see how much people have progressed. I recently got back into tying so I will have to post some of my work when I get home.

That's a pretty sweet-looking lanyard, Stormdrane. I just finished tying a new Monkey Fist key fob for my car keys, but I think I like your pattern better.
