Thanks. Not hard. Just make the thing loose, so it'll hang proper. Once you get to the end go back a few knots then back again. Trim the inner strands for the tongue.

I've gotta ask; for those with beaded lanyards does it beat up the knife much, whether it be scales or blade, after having the lanyard on for a lot of carry time?

If you clip the knife in your pocket, the bead should be on the outside so it shouldn't be hitting the knife. Personally the only use I have for beads is to weigh down the fob so it doesn't stick straight out and look silly.
