It seems safe to say that the list of knives that will be demanded in this steel is about as long as the catalog is. I'm sure lots of people will still prefer the ultra wear resistant options but if this steel really lives up to the well rounded hype it'll be awesome in pretty much any model. The only limiting factor will be production time and steel availability.

Even though the steel should cost no more than S30v to produce, I suspect all the makers will be hitting us with an up charge for knives made in this steel. At least for a couple of years. I hope I’m wrong.

Personnally, would love to see the Native 5 (or Native 6?) in Magnacut

Honestly, I would be surprised if (after a compulsory mule) it was something else than a Native 5 to be the first MagnaCut knife.

I would like to have a Shaman with micarta in Magnacut.

I agree with Sal; the Shaman, PM2, and Para 3. In that order...I think. I have been carrying my Para 3 every since I got it because it was the only available in Maxamet, and I wanted to try it. I think that my first Magnacut will be the Creely PG Mako that I ordered on Kickstarter, but hopefully Sal's will come first!

Well, I certainly didn't anticipate this.

The Mule was released last week, and the new Product Guide revealed a Magnacut Native 5 Salt.

I understood Magnacut to be a stainless, but had no idea it was that stainless. Very cool.

I think I'll finally need to pickup a yellow Native.

I already have a yellow Native!

same ! It's still riding the factory edge (stropped it thrice), so I might sell it... Would be the first Spyderco I let go of.

Hat's off to you Larrin. I'm carrying a Manix with Magnacut. Very sharp. Took a beautiful edge. Also doing very well in our corrosion test tank, after 10 days. Gonna be fun.

i know we're going to see the native first, but this gives me hope for a manix. a g10 manix with magnacut would be very nice.

I do want a millie too, but the native is a lot cheaper.

If the Native 5 Salt Magnacut is first, we need to start worrying about what'll be next!!

If Japan production is available, which I presume is unlikely, I'd like Stretch 2 in either blade shape; otherwise, Manix 2 or better yet XL

When I look at all the hype for Magnacut, Oprah meme comes to mind frequently
