I didn’t even know that you had blade length restrictions over there. I wonder how it would look with a stubby blade regrind. 1cm can make a big difference in the look of a knife

Edit: 1mm not 1cm should be very easy to regrind down to make it legal

Alisdair (if I may), the KnifeNews article I link above mentions you thought to offer your knife in RWL34. Your proto in this thread shows S30V. Is RWL34 still up for discussion, as blade length might be? Maybe you're not free to say.

mantra 3 has new qc bigger bearing system so I don't think blade swap would be compatible with original mantra?

That Southard looks like a Ken Onion design. Great looking knife.

I am waiting on that Lil Native Back Lock. It looks to be a Techno killer.

That Paysan looks staggeringly beautiful.

I thought it difficult to top the Nirvana.

I liked the Techno but the II looks great as well.

I like that the tip of the blade is pulled down a tad.

So far, if I‘m not wrong, you showed one Seki City and one Golden made spydie, all the others (and there were already plenty) were Taichung made. Wow. Last batch must contain more Golden products, right?

That Alistair Phillips knife was (among with couple of others) the nicest knife that came by last sunday. Looking forward to that one, but please something else as S30V....

i's pretty clear that the Golden factory is limited and mostly deals with recurrent designs: PM2, Military, Native, Manix etc

I wouldn‘t mind to see a military with a lock other than liner. :) Ibelieve I remember it was in discussion.

I like that the clip location and angle has been changed slightly, should improve the ergos quite a bit.

Usually, I'm able to keep my aspirations to one of the new Spydercos per year. But this year, I may be in trouble.

That Phillips is just a must-have for me, even though I can't even legally carry it around my jurisdiction (though I'll still put in a last-minute request for XHP. . .). That Ankerson bowie makes me want to start a new career as a grizzled outdoorsman. And I still don't know which of the bevy of compression-lock flippers I'll have to have. But it seems awfully unlikely I'll be able to say no to all of them.

CPM 154 could be a contender here. Nearly identical to RWL34 and already used in Taiwan production (Darn Dao).

Lots of good stuff coming, and after buying two recent limited editions I really wanted to resist anything else in the pipeline. I will not be able to resist the Mantra 3, though. I love the Mantra 2 blade, despite not loving flippers in general, and love M4 which I wish spyderco had kept, but the other changes are too good to pass up. Still a very appealing blade, in a good steel. Improved pivot hardware. Definitely prefer the move away from Ti. Perfect size for office carry. Looks like a winner!

the Amor is love at first sight, the color, the curves...oddly enough in my language (Spanish" the word "Amor" literally means "Love" :D

and oddly enough, "No Tiene Amor "means "It doesn't have love", something unconceivable for a design so elegant :eek:

It is likely we measured wrong or that the notes got mixed when I uploaded it.

Some really great looking new models being shown at the A'dam Meet this year! Thanks SO MUCH to Wouter for all his hard work, and of course to the Spydercrew for giving us our annual fix! Now the big question is, will even more new protos be shown at the Taipei Meet and will you be covering that as well Wouter?
