Jester Sprint
Im new here but i know what i like when i see it.
For one i love that Lum Sprint design, I hope its screw construction and not pinned?
Is there an expected release date? And if anyone is doing a pre-order pls message me.
I looked everywhere for Jesters blade and maybe im blind but i didn't see anything designated as such. So is there a pic of the blade and possible size comparison?
My only input is make it in premium steel of some sort, Whether is CPM154 or VG10 and S30V i don't care. But no AUS of any kind or 440 series and no sandvic steels.
Ive passed up many knives due to that reason.
Its not that they aren't decent useful steels, Its about the knife retaining value and gaining value over time. Lesser steels in knives dooms it to forever being a knife of low interest and value.

The Jester was discontinued years ago. It was a little knife the size of a Ladybug.I looked everywhere for Jesters blade and maybe im blind but i didn't see anything designated as such. So is there a pic of the blade and possible size comparison?

I am seriously excited for this one. As a new spyderco fan I never got a chance to buy a Jester.
My vote is for smooth g-10, especially if it keeps the cost down.
Thanks Sal,
Aaron

G-10 smooth is fine. I've never held smooth G-10 until the past couple of weeks. The G-10 I have touched has the finish of the Manix2 tan or Byrd Wings. Just recently I made some scales out of G-10 and they are smooth. I was happily surprised at the grip G-10 has even when smooth. So, smooth is prettier so if the knife is a gents folder and will have G-10 I would prefer smooth. If it is designed as a "working" knife then I guess a rougher finish would be preferrable.

Either way is fine by me on that size knife,I do think smooth would be more pleasing to the eye.
I also think blue G10 would look great.
I know it would add greatly to the price but a bolstered one with smooth G10 would be sweet and give Santa Fa a nice one to work with.
