Tests are fun. Don't know if I'm allowed to double dip, but did one myself tonight. I made a stir fry for dinner (this is really a "Dad cooks" day), and there was lots of veggie cutting to do. I put a few knives through their paces, and the surprise performance champ was my Delica FFG. Naturally, a little more length would've been welcome on some tasks, but the Delica was an absolute whiz at everything else. The acute angle on the point, coupled with the thinness and razor edge, made detail work especially fun. Something about the bright green FRN scales also seemed particularly at home in the kitchen.

Now I'm wondering if I should add a FFG Endura to the arsenal---the extra length would come in handy for cooking chores---but I'm wondering if the slightly thicker blade width would be a negative. :confused:

Used my delica to cut up some pizza

Used my 9cr13mov Mule with custom Aluminum scales(made by me) to cut up 13 pounds of tomatoes to make Hot sauce. It did a excellent job.I have a spare that may make it in to the kitchen.

I used my new PARA 2 (my new edc) to cut some speaker wires. I'm moving around the surround speakers in my living room, they were on the wall and now I've got them on speaker stands. I also used it to open up my NIB Benchmade 46 bali (spearpoint). Yea, I believe that it's safe to say that today was a good day!

My open Stretch was on top of a piece of paper on the table. I wanted the paper. I pulled it out from under the knife, the knife fell and stabbed my bare foot. Didn't know that much blood was in a foot!

That was the first thing I cut today.

And what did we learn today? The foot DOES have lots of blood :rolleyes:

picked some toe jam out from under my toenail LOL, its hot here finally and weve been wearing sandals latley, my once broken toe always gets dirt under the toe nail and it drives me crazy. kinda gross lol

Yes, extremely gross!

Today I was covering up some walls with 1/4" lauan. I did not have a jigsaw to cut out the recepticle openings so I cut the openings with the bottom of my cicular saw. It did not cut completely because I didn't want to have over cuts on all corners that the plate would not cover. Then used my Tasman SE the cut through the corners that the saw blade did not cut. This knife can do anything! I also cut one of the openings short where the screw tab was covered. I had to notch some out for the cover plate screw to fit. I lightly batoned my Tasman with a pair of channel locks on each side of the tab and broke the peice off with the channel locks. Thats gotta be a first!

today at work, i used my d4 to cut the sticky backed plastic wrap the we use to keep the welding splatted off of the tips we use on our high performance exhaust systems. it's a very thin sheet that even a razor knife has a hard time cutting without ripping and tearing. the guys at work are amazed at how my knife just sails through this material. they have fits dealing with it.
i also cut nylon shipping straps and cardboard with no problems.

Opened up a cardboard box with my Military. The cardboard box contained my ZDP Lum and Persian, back from the Spyderco spa. :D

I cut the plastic wrapping from a box of checks.

leather seat. went thourgh it like butter....that was Delica at work

Well, if they made the cutters on the box to accually work... I use my knife most of the time for this, too. :D

When our order of pork satay came, the chunks of meat were way too big to bite on and the knives provided would have a hard time cutting butter. Out came my military to the rescue(I was actually very discrete). I was pleasantly surprised because the people in the restaurant didn't even do a double take. It seems to be happening more this way here.

Boxes, and lunch.

i cut a bunch of wires in my mustang. i got t-boned last week and they told me today it was totaled...i am so freaking pissed off right now. anyways i had to take out the aftermarket stuff i put in and cut it all with the keychain goddard.

I hope your alright brother.Cars can be replaced, people can't .
