That Para2 is beautifle. That is an awsome photo. What kind of camera do you use.

I shot it with my five-and-a-half year old Fujifilm Finepix F30 point and shoot (which is ancient in digital camera years). The secret lies not in what I shot the photo with, but how I shot it. I disable the flash and use natural, indirect light coming in through the window. Even with that, the really vibrant hues completely fall apart, looking flat and lifeless. Bright yellow becomes pastel yellow, toxic green a minty green, and bright smurf blue becomes a much less punchy blue. The orange Millie is fairly accurate, but still a bit understated. My picture then gets taken into Photoshop and I sit with the knives next to me and adjust the colors in each knife until they more or less match the real knife in front of me. I also tweak the contrast curves and crop a bit.
This is what it looked like coming out of the camera:

Crap cellphone pic. I'll try again with a real camera tomorrow - but both are my most recent purchases. Been hunting them down since the orange pre-orders all seemed filled up. Got both on my check list - a PE and SE. So stoked about these blades. By far my favorite, only to a SB Caly 3.5, just because the steel. Heck a dodo in SB would be mind blowing

Not exactly a new purchase, but my christmas gift spydies. The dutchpride Endura and the Moran, but my favourite gift this year was the handcoloured spydie-plate made by my six year old daughter.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everybody.
