Salt I with pointy-tip grind by forumite araneae, and Krein-regrind Barong. All lanyards masterfully tied by my Dad - 'regular' round knot, zig-zag, and V:

Far out - isn't that dangerous? Looks very cool. Welcome to the forums.

^Emo's would love that bracelete, it cuts itself!

It's not overly dangerous and actually performs pretty well as a knife when off the wrist :)
It takes more effort to open the Bug when on the wrist than could reasonably expect and tends to pull away from the wrist when I've manufactured the opening "accidentally"!
I'm not saying it couldn't cut you when on the wrist but I reckon it's unlikely and worth the risk :)

Just beware of the possibility that sudden movements (eg when you stumble over sth) may induce enough inertia to open the knife.
I'd rather not do it, although it is a nice idea.

very interesting and unique ideas...here is one I haven't seen but may be out there...let me know if someone has made one...would like to share in the misery :) will get better pics better but shows fairly well. Used small type 1 cord and fused the two together. Guy will use this as a key fob.

Just a series of Chinese crown knots, tied with a 3 foot length of paracord.
