What are you referring to specifically?
Wondering the same thing. I realize Spyderco can't please everyone but, by my count, there are seven versions of the Ladybug for 2017. Three different steels, two handle materials, two blades shapes, five colors of FRN, in the catalog, and always the possibility of one or more Exclusives and/or "exotic" steel Sprints popping up unexpectedly. Not seeing the problem here, except maybe choosing one.

Deacon and others, since we did not see the spoken-of Caribbean with LC200N stainless steel shown in this new catalog, does that basically mean that, if it does materialize as an actual Spyderco product for sale, it will most likely be featured in a later catalog supplement, or, what should we expect/estimate regarding it?

It probably means one of those things. A couple models have "died on the vine", a number have taken longer than anticipated but still wound up being seen first in a catalog, and still others have appeared on dealer's shelves out of the blue, without being seen first in print. Which will be the case with the Caribbean is anybody's guess.

D'allara and Police 4 both look great, they look like smoothed out versions of the previous models with superior ergonomics. Definitely going to grab one of each. The Police 3 is one of my more frequently carried knives and the 4 looks even better. Excited to try a new steel too!

Maybe the Lil Temp 3...I really liked the finger grooves in the original...I'll have to hold it to be sure.

Opus is an interesting design, excited to check it out in person. Hard to tell how it'd sit in my hand from photos. Q Ball is a neat design too.

Torn on the Rhino. Compact compression lock in a light weight package for under 50$ sounds like a no brainer, but it looks too small for me (6'4) to get a four finger grip. Probably going to order one and if it doesn't work for me I'll pass it on to a friend. Its a super cool looking design!

However the ATR 2 completely steals the show for me. That looks absolutely amazing. I've always wanted one with G10 overlays for superior grip, and the new clip design looks miles better than the original. I plan to pre-order 2 of these, one for back-up and one to put in my pocket immediately.

I'm probably going to mod the tip a bit though, I think a straight spine would make it a bit more functional for my uses. Otherwise it looks perfect. Excited about carrying one of these. Love that they're keeping the cobra hood, it makes the knife super comfortable during hard cuts in a sabre grip.

6. EuroEdge- Definite MUST have for me. Love polished G10, love dagger shapes- SOLD
11. WHARNIE DELICA- SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

Those two are the ones that sing to me. Loving the Euroedge. Wharnie Delica is prob more practical but I love the lines on the Euroedge!

I separated out a question I needed to ask: why is it a Lil Temp 3 and not a 2?

Did I miss the Lil temp 2 (and now have another grail added to the list?)

Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Hi Demon,

The original Lil' Temp had two blade shapes, 1 & 2.

It says in the description for the ATR2 that it will have a four way clip but the prototype and all the pictures show it as just tip up. Which is it?

I am very pleased to see a couple of new options being offered in hap40. My favorite Japanese (Spyderco) steel by a long shot and probably my favorite EDC steel overall. I would love to see them offer some regular production hap40 options in the Japanese lineup.

No it shouldn't. Original, which Spydercos cream of the crop never had it either.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

The Lil Temp 3 will be CPM S30V.

Hopefully, both answers come as good news. :)
