I'm interested to see the resulting Spyderco Bushcraft knife. My current standby for camping is my old Falkniven F1. I really like it a lot but I just prefer carbon steel on my camping fixed blades. The carbon steel Spyderco Bushcraft could be a nice replacement.
I'm still here..........

I'm looking forward to the 52100 knife. I'll keep my eyes "alooking" for it.

Hi,
I've been traveling for some time and am now getting back on track.
I will be communicating with the designers next week and make further plans.

Good news!

I hope that things settle down for you a little. I just didn't want you to think that we had lost interest in this project! :D
I look forward to seeing these knives in the flesh!
Cheers, Ken

Ken, you're not the only one eagerly awaiting an update. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what develops.

Hi.
Mostly our travel schedules and "day job" have slowed product development in general.
Interest is still there. We just got some stuff sorted out with the designers. There were some "goal" questions on which I was not clear.
Please keep in mind that Eric and I work on many projects at once.
I can say that we're still moving. We've also been working on sharpeners. The knife design is in engineering.

Howdy Sal,
Just thought I'd look in to see if the knife was still in the making - I'm looking forward to seeing a version "in the metal" so to speak.
I've got some new sheath designs based round a flexible system I can share if you like when when you have the kinks worked out of the knife

Welcome Red!
While I am impatiently awaiting the first sighting of the Glesser's BushcaftUK model, I'm also very interested in the sheath ideas you and your fellows over at BB come up with. Please keep us posted (sorry, couldn't resist) when you have something you feel comfortable showing.
Thanks.

Folks:
It looks like I am on the hook for a bunch of toys in 2007.
Caly 3 PE & SE
Mini Manix PE
Delica ZDP 189
Calypso ZDP 189
Endura 4 VG 10
7" fixed blade utility hunter
4" fixed blade bushcraft, both styles
Ugh!
I think I have to work some overtime!
Looks like 2007 is going to be a great year for Spyderco & all of its enthusiasts.

Seems like you know something I don't, I have been keeping an eye on this thread for details but I didn't know styles or sizes had been decided and published. Can you point me to the threads/pages with details!?
Cheers

here you go...
http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.p ... 846&page=6
And
http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community/sh ... light=nasa
In both cases look for the word NASA. That should get you to mention of the alternate version.

Thought I could bump this one... :D
The concept models looked great at the shows. I wonder what the progress is... Are pictures from the concepts allowed yet?

Hi Ted,
I'd rather not do any promoting at this time. We have "too many" projects in the works and they are all taking longer than we'd hoped.
We probably won't be taking on any new projects for the next year or so, while we work on those already "in the works".

Hi Sal,
Any hints at when the next project might go on sale?
Thanks,
Jeff
