Are you relying on the epoxy to keep it together, or are those tubes flared also? If flared, did you likewise flare the G10 before assembly?
The amount of epoxy all the little unused circles in the mule handle take up there is enough epoxy for keeping it all together. (If I was doing a solid piece tang without any cut outs I would use Corby bolts)
The lanyard tubes just add to the no movement aspect of the handle scales.
I use a 12 hour epoxy on handles with pins.

This is one of my Mules. I bought it a while ago on a secondary market, in a rather abused condition, with poor quality scales and sheath, and some kind of polish on the blade, which is heavily pitted. I believe, this Cruwear blade has "factory pitting" after re-heat process during the recall campaign (mentioned earlier somewhere on this forum), because these pits are presented along the entire blade (even under the scales), and they aren't getting larger or deeper, so it's mostly a cosmetic issue.
Nevertheless, I decided to give it the second life. Brought it to local knife craftsman, he made these two-layer micarta scales, and set them up with epoxy resin and titanium pins. Then I sharpened it to around 11 dps with high-grit stones to near-mirror finish. The handle feels warm and super comfortable, and fits perfectly into Spyderco branded leather sheath. This Mule doesn't see much work, but it's definitely a pleasure to use it

Definitely jealous of those handles - I've got some nice 3D G-10 scales on my PD1 mule, but nothing beats Micarta. And that double layer effect is super cool!
The handle material is G-carta, the fit and finish on Kydex is excellent! It is made by a fellow member from UK forums. Now, all it needs is a good sharpening as the factory edge does not look too good.

First Mule:
today the UPS guy dropped the box off on the front porch. I went out and opened it on my trucks tailgate, Z-WEAR mule was shining. Walked out to the mailbox and lo and behold there was a small package from Halpern, inside were Option 5 Battleship Gray scales. A twofer. Quickly assembled, Yahoo!! Went to backyard and snapped this photo against a Northwest Florida Live Oak. A good day I must say!!
