Congratulations Matt and Nick, well deserved and good job judging Dan… also I failed to mention how good your photo was too Nick, I was in shock from seeing Matt’s 🤣

Must say the tiny dew droplets on the web really made the shot stand out along with centering. Nick’s shot was so cool with the size comparison of the live spider and the printed one . One of the few times I wish I could say it was a tie , but we do not have it in our rules and would be a mess over judging the next week . Dan

Can I post a few non-submission picture updates on my chrysalis from last week's photo?

Ryan as long as the shot has never been submitted in contest any shot of a Spyderco knife is acceptable . Dan

If you mean just of the plant? There is a thread in the off topic section. But if you mean a new photo of your plant and chrysalis with a knife, then go for it.

This is my submission ^ the caterpillar before it formed the chrysalis I posted last week.

If you are interested in the full life cycle butterfly chronicles I made an imgur album here to avoid cluttering this thread with non submission photos: https://imgur.com/gallery/lifecycle-of-monarch-facouQV

It was fun that we got to follow one caterpillar to butterfly in the wild.
