From the Reveal’s front to its back, these are the offerings that have my eye:

Bodacious - Thought Sal was reserving this name for a rescue model, and entirely forgot this name is connected to bull-riding; odd that it’s not presented as being the promised choil-less Shaman, or even as having Shaman roots; I want this handle-forward design soonest.

Military2 Crucarta - Bought the OG; this one will be my reward.

MagnaCut PM2 Salt - Been wanting this one forever.

SpyMyto Flash Batch - Just the second “flash batch”, right?; removable flipper, M398 and lockbar-insert interest me; would be my first manufacturer-collaboration.

S90V Military2 Sprint Run - Bought the OG; this one will be my reward.

ProFile Stones Set - 701 returns; I missed out on the disco’d OG; JD convinced me years ago that this offering is a must-have.

SpyMyto will be the fourth “Flash Batch” - Lil Nilakka, Darn Dao, Bombshell, and SpyMoto.

I want to try and keep up with every Flash Batch they release for as long as I’m a collector, so I feel obligated to get one of these.

Wow. Now THAT'S a reveal. Lots of goodies.

Looking at the Native Chiefs, that crazy Mule, and the S90V CF Millie2.

What a cornucopia of awesome! Pretty much everything is cool. But the highlights for me are:
- Bodacious - beautiful blade, slight ShiLin Cutter (Lum Chinese Folder) vibes, I love it
- Millie 2 in new steels - all three sound delightful, though I'll probably skip the crucarta as I don't like micarta. Hard choice between S110V and S90V, would love the CF but availability will probably choose for me
- that SPY27 G10 color is great, can't wait for other models to be added to the bunch later, might even get a Para 2 SPY27, though it's a tad shortbladed for my liking
- Salty Manix 2 - I was itching for a lightweight manix for a while, MagnaCut and screw construction will probably push me over the edge finally
- Salty Chief - either looks great but that MagnaCut yet again
- Ceramic Mule - if I manage to get it I won't hesitate a second. First real potential revolution in blade material experience in a while. And priced well

Three new Manix 2. The Crucarta XL and the salt are an absolute must have. Now, that I think about it, the normal Crucarta is one too.

Very, very nice to see a new Manix 2 XL. And this combination is very near perfect for this knife. Absolutely getting one. No question.

The salt Manix 2 will be a strong competitor to my salt UKPK. While I can carry the UKPK legally, the Manix 2 is a Manix 2. I just hope it won't need as long as the Magna UKPK to hit the stores.

I often wished for a Crucarta Manix 2, now it is here, I will get one.


All in all, a very nice reveal, with three great products, I really want.

Spyderco went bonkers.

I am tempted by the Manix XL, the MC Chief, the Catcherman.. hmm, let me have another look..

Return of 701 Profile Stones in an upgraded version is dream came true! I would say that almost all of listed knives are something I would like to have in my collection, absolutely dreamy reveal - THANK YOU SPYDERCO.

Just waiting for the Magnacut UKPK... The rest... Maybe someday...

Amazing Reveal - Congrats to the Spyderco team! It is going to be hard for some knife companies to compete with this in 2024! Plenty of dream knives in there for me, already counting pennies over here: MagnaCut PM2, CruCarta Millie2, CruCarta Manix2, the Mule Team for sure, and hopefully even an S110V Millie2 someday. *dreaming*

I like the pink para 3. Hopefully i can buy one for my wife's collection of pink Spyderco knives.
Hopefully i can also buy the military 2 this year. Funds are tight so plain S30V and black G10 works for me. Didn't dare to check the prices.

The big question:

When available?

I had a raft of existing models in my sights for Black Friday, and I'm afraid this reveal wiped all of those planned purchases off the map. I need to save coin for the magnificent Reveal 14 -- the reveal that finally broke open the floodgates of Magnacut.

But--but--website definitively says "Available Now" in big white italic letters...

(Of course can wait. Just, interesting that website says 'available now,' and I'm curious why. Maybe they mean that Reveal 14--the announcement itself, not the product--is available now? I've never thought of an announcement as being 'made available,' but maybe it's time for me to learn something new about modern marketing!)
