You do!! You have RAD!
I only have 9 razors. What could be so odd about that? :winking-tongue

Which other Henson do you want?

You have nearly all available.
I think the color does not really change the shave ;)

I was thinking of getting a mild for myself so I won't have to borrow my wife's (for my head on occasion and for going to the hospital instead of letting those incompetent nurses shave me).

Well, I broke down and did it. I went to that wet shaving shop. I knew I shouldn't have. I returned with this black Henson mild and some other things.

The first thing I did, of course, was lather up my face and shave with it. Like always, I got a good shave. It is not as efficient as my mediums, but one more pass would have gotten me there. As it was, it was good enough for the office or wherever.

Awsome! You will love it. The blue is a great color, too.

Feather blade and mild Henson are a great combo! Second shave today went very well. The kids all wanted cream on their faces too 😂

When I was a kid I used to use bar soap to lather up my face, then use a hair comb to "shave." One time we had a cousin of mine staying with us and I was playing around with the soap and comb in the bathroom. My mom asked why I was in the bathroom for so long and I replied, I'm shaving. My mom and cousin did their personal best in the 10 yd dash that day to make it to the bathroom to stop me. :rofl

Does anyone knows how the color is applied at the Henson?
Painted, anodized?
Does it affect the gliding?

I need more time with it.
Used lather from a can and got a reminder that the canned stuff is really bad...

It’s anodized. Some have commented on the texture but I haven’t noticed it to be a problem. The Ti is smoother, a better feel for those who’ve tried it.

The Ti is smoother, but with a good soap made to yogurt thickness makes the AL glide just like the Ti.

I’m impressed with the Feather in my EJ de89. To be fair my competency with a de razor is still growing, though.

I just bought some Cella soap. It worked really well, and smelt lovely! Very different consistency when lathered compared to my others.

The Feather is the only blade I want to use in my DE89. These two are a perfect match for me.

Well I finally got a “weeper”. I shaved yesterday, and again today. Went over the chin area several times, I suppose I was tempting fate. But definitely DFS, maybe even BBS.

I also have to retract my statement about not liking the TOOBS sandalwood shaving cream. Once lathered up with hot water, I like it quite a lot! Bathroom smells good afterwards too.

My son used the leftover cream and the razor with no blade to “shave” again this morning. He loves it! I am slyly training him to appreciate a DE shaving experience and when Gillette sends the razor they want him to use in the mail, it’ll go in the trash. Or back to them with “get woke, go broke” written on the package. Zing!

I got my first weeper, a tiny one, today with my Ti medium. I must have had a bump or maybe I pressed too hard. I didn't know I could get one with this razor. There was no irritation, only a little fluid. I did shave very, very close and it was nice and comfortable.

The medium is a great razor. I have a mild, but the medium sees all of the use. I occasionally use the mild because it is new. There is no way I'll ever give up my medium Ti22.

For you, the fun part is going to be experimenting with different brands of blades.

Very good. You'll like it. I know Henson recommends the mild for heads, but I don't think the medium will be an issue. The learning curve is the issue. Just keep the angle right and don't press much.

I did quite a bit of research and seems like pretty much everyone was in agreement that even the medium is a very mild shaver compared to others. I do want a little noise/feedback
