Someone with the new PM2 in 10v, if they have the means, can they post some hardness measurements? Thanks!
Anyone test this one yet?

Awesome! Thanks BBB and Albatross for sharing!

Good to see a higher number for the CPM 10V.
And that REX 45 - incredible!

Indeed, for people that don't like high carbide steels, Rex 45 is the peak their should strive for. Amazing steel in a high polish edge.

So I have a lockbar from a Maxamet native that lost a fight with a lawnmower. Not my knife but my coworker asked if I wanted the pieces. Wondering if anyone would want to RC test the lockbar. I'm not sure if spyderco changes the steel for different runs. I can ship it to whoever would want to do this. I don't need it back after.

I was curious, does the hardness differentiate between the releases? Say with the REX45 Military/PM2/Para 3 from last year, compared to the knives being released this year?

Has anyone seen HRC numbers for the Mantra 1 and Mantra 2?
I have a Mantra 2, so naturally, I’m very curious.

Also, Kurt (jcoolg19) on YouTube has done many many tests. I recall that the XHP Manix LW was tested at at or a hair above 61 hrc, but I don’t see it in the list.

Thanks.

Thought it was a good idea to have this info posted in more than one place in the thread in case I accidentally delete something in an edit.

Laminated blades don't give accurate readings, from what I understand. They can't be tested on the flats, since the cladding is covering any testable areas. Testing the exposed core is difficult, if not impossible, due to the angles.
