I missed out on the S90V, and I think the Maxamet is better steel.

In addition, I would like to see more Natives, Shamans and Calys, which I can afford. Under $150 please. I love Shaman, but $180 is no go.
I am working for contract manufacturer. Customer saying, if you want to keep the job, figure out how to cut the cost. Spyderco need to do the same.
Glad to see another fan of the R! One day we'll build enough momentum to get a sprint. I might have to arrange a pass-around to generate more interest.

With regard to the shaman, what feature would you be willing to part with as a cost saving measure? Would you still be interested in a flat scale version if it were under $150? This seems like the most straightforward modification to cut cost.
Yet another R fan here. Love the deep choil and the wide blade, not to mention how interesting of a piece it is with the skeletonized handle.

Edge retention, scoring glass, cutting tin?

I see. I use different tool for scoring glass and cutting tin.
Edge retention of S90v is quite sufficient for me. I also strongly prefer stainless steels. Hate patina, stans and rust

I was just joking around :) While you probably could use Maxamet for those things, it's probably best to use the proper tool. I really like S90V, it's a very very good steel, and stainless too!

Without of doubts Maxamet blade can do many things, which S90V cannot. All depends on our needs and desires.

I want even thinner blades and micarta handle scales. Also want to see lanyard holes disappear any time they interfere with the placement of the clip as far back as possible (a good example of lanyard hole interference being the Para 3).

I would LOVE to see a Shaman sprint run in M390 with textured G-10 orange or glow in the dark scales!!!

This one should be pretty easy:
More scale colors for Dragonfly in either VG10 or H1.
Yeah, this! Really want a murdered out (black FRN, black coated blade) DF2 H1 Salt. SE and PE. I'd LOVE a G10 DF2 in Red, Blurple, or Jade as well. I'm cool with VG10 for the G10 versions.

"R" ZDP, peel ply carbon, works for me.
^^^
"R": Mailman dropped this off 5 hours ago, and I am really impressed with this one. This is a boss of a knife. The one I received was flawless. Super sharp VG-10, thin behind the edge, solid lockup, no blade play, + nishijin carbon fibre is very unique. Props to Seki City quality control + the forum members on this one. Now you got me looking at the lums.

"R" minor updates:
SB, or ZDP, no lanyard hole, + wire clip
This one definitely needs to come out of retirement.

I'd like to see more space in between release dates :D My poor wallet can't take so many great ones in one month.

Id love it if a 52100 Yojimbo 2 with micarta scales would become a thing.
