For those STILL looking, Knivesshipfree just got ten more in stock:

Now I've just got to resist the temptation to buy another and wait for the CF sprint.

Hey, thanks, looks like I missed that :D
Anyway, KC got back to me. The guy basically said that, having preordered in Dec., I should be "well positioned" to receive one, presumably when they get their main shipment in, but he did not say whether or not ALL preorders they took would be filled. I know some guys have gotten burned on that, so that's still unknown. 1000 knives is a lot, so hopefully everyone can get theirs, I mean, how many people can really want this ugly lookin' blade? :p

Just a head's up on any Oso Grande Dodo orders:
I called Oso Grande earlier today on my lunch break regarding my Orange Dodo order (purchased on 3/15/12). The gentleman (I think his name was Greg?) stated that unfortunately, Oso is presently out of stock on the Dodo (surprise, surprise

). He did state that I am 10th in line for the next shipment, which is due in early to mid-April. He said that at this point, he'd estimate I'd have a "75% chance" of receiving the Dodo from them. Apparently, Oso is still taking pre-orders for the Dodo, although nothing on their site indicated that they were out of stock when I placed my order on 3/15. Sooooooo, I guess I'll hurry up and wait for April.
Just for the record, I've used Oso Grande several times in the past for Spydie orders and they have been fantastic (very quick and professional service).

Your pre-order date is only a few days later than mine. With luck, next batch, you're up. :)

Howes has also listed collection of pre order DoDo's on their site. That's one hot bird.

Just had mine arrive today. Thanks guys for pointing me to a few places that had them in stock. It took awhile but I finally got one. It is smaller than I thought it would be (not a plus or a minus - just smaller than I imagined). Feels great in the hand. I have already opened some packaging with it and it works great for this. I'm going to have fun with this one.

My Dodo sprint arrived from KW yesterday. It really is a great little big knife! The action is very smooth and the blade is only slightly off-center, but I think that's due two brass washers on one side of the pivot pin and only one on the other side. The ball spring is a bit stiff though, much stiffer than the ones on my two Poliwogs. I hope it loosens up with use. Over all, I am very happy with this LBK.
Regards,
Ira

Interesting enough, mine has the same thing.

One of mine is a little off center, but I believe it is the hollow grind that's slightly off.
Also, it looks like there are two washers on one side, but it is just a reflection off of the small nested liner only present on one side. At least on mine.

Mine is well centered, for what it's worth.

Bit off topic. Is the shade of orange the same as the Manix sprint run?

Got mine today from rocky national! :D . Blade perfectly centered, solid lock up and no play whatsoever. Sweet little knife!

This showed up on Thursday.
Agree with mikerstivo. Smaller than I thought but that's not an issue.

Got mine today, so worth the wait!
You almost expect something bigger to come out of the handle, but its a really cool design I dig it, looking forward to putting it to use.
