I had a similar problem about a year ago with an eBay store called Working Person's.
Long story short, they had a Lone Wolf T3 with a BIN of 150$ or so, and although I already had three I could not resist and bought it. A couple days later I receive a request through eBay asking me to accept canceling the transaction because the seller had made a mistake not updating his stock and that knife had sold through their website.
Stupidly I believed it and accepted. Next thing I know, a T3 is up on their site for 250$ a couple days later. By that time I could not do anything because I had agreed to the transaction being canceled.
So, if you won that item they have to get you one, it is not that it is a discontinued model or anything (the LW T3 was). If I was you I would refuse the refund and notify eBay.
