Than how will we know where to buy it, if it's sold out before any one sees it?

Sal or Kristi,
Is there any chance it will come out this year ?

I'm sure as they are passing through quality control there will be some heads-up.

i am relatively new here. what does that mean exactly? they go to you guys then to the dealers? or do you have stuff to do to them before they can be sold? do we get them directly from the sfo online or from our normal retailers? can you be a little more specific. i don't want to miss out on these. i want a couple because i am going to gift them for x-mas. thanx sal

Hi Smoothone,

I don't have the final details or pricing. I do know that it is a sprint run that was created by forum requests. I would suggest that if you really want one, pay attention to this forum.

Hi Sal.
Since this was created by forum requests is there anyway it can be offered to us first so we have a chance of getting it?. I know the 2009 forum knife was bought up so fast by dealers then sold for triple the cost we would of gotten it for. I would sure hate to miss out on this knife the way it happened with the forum knife.

thanx sal i appreciate the info. i will do exactly that.
ps. i also agree that us forumites maybe deserve the first dibs. i had to pay almost triple for my purple native cuz of dealer greed. maybe just a limit one per customer for the first 24 hours?

Perhaps I missed it, has the handle color been confirmed for us yet? Does no mention of it mean that it will just be black?

+1 !!!!

I'd say, that if there's ANY chance at all to do some sort of "I'm in for x pcs" list, that would be great. Heck, I'll send my money up front if that's what it takes. As a curved ones freak I'd HATE to loose this opportunity.
(Along with the Manix 2, and Spyderhawk, which I've got allready, this is on my most wanted list this year. ) I bet there's many of us hawkbill fans alone, who are eagerly awaiting.. plus, this might be an awesome entry level hawkbill for many.. I bet these will sell like hotcakes.

Sal, what say you?

So is Sal saying it'll be available through this forum? Cool, that means it must be coming some time soon!

It will most likely be available through the SFO. Sal was saying that this forum is the best place to find out WHEN it is available.
