The Liltemp is and will allways be one of my fave and most ergonomic knives. I carry it mainly for MBC and practice with it daily. Good luck on making this instrument better.
I'd rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Awesome news on the new Lil' Temp 2! The original is one of the most innovative folder designs I've ever seen. I still carry an upswept blade Lil' Temp and a leafpoint Lil' Temp. Just an incredible folder.

I'm looking forward to it being manufactured in Japan. Should be interesting to pair it up with one of the older models.

Oh yeah, wire clip please.

There is no better knife than the Lil'Temp vs. 1.0. Not to say it could not be improved. Most of my concerns seem to have already been identified by the Spyder crew. My biggest issue was the BIG CHUNKY handle. A LIl'Temp in pocket means no access to that pocket.

I look forward to the LilTemp II.
Not really all that slick ;)

I am interested in any more info, and especially pics, of Lil T 2.

I am hoping for a tip-up, wire clip (like Superhawk, not low-rider Caly 3), non-black G-10 Lil Temp 2 with a lanyard hole... :D

Hi JT,

Sorry, no pics until we've finalized the design and we have protos in hand, and we know that production will occur within the 6 months of showing pics.

Currently we're using a 4 way Endura/Delica clip on the models we've made.

Sal, thanks for keeping the 4-way clip.

I know I've been pretty vocal on this so far, but this is meant for serious use more than just cutting open the mail. The choice of tip-up/tip-down gives many of us more options and allows us to use it just like the original.

I love the Lil Temp even more than the Para.
However, it would not be a Lil Temp with a blade that is not 4mm thick and with a much different handle than the original. Of course it should retain the Comp Lock, the wire clip is acceptable.
Steelwise, I would of course prefer S90V to VG-10, but here is a suggestion: since it will be made in Seki, why not ZDP?

I was a bit worried about the handle changes. When I handled the prototype in June, I was sold. The handle is changed, but it is very ergonomic and is definitely a Temperance. My question now is just "when can I buy a Rhino version?"

I am really looking forward to this knife - hoping to see a picture sometime soon. I would love to have a Lil Temp, and I think the '2' will be an improvement and a lot to easier to get my hands on. I hope there is a large lanyard hole regardless of whether hourglass or wire clip is used. I am hoping for non-black G-10. Foliage green would be great, but a new color would be awesome too.

Size wise is this destined to be slightly larger than the Lava?

I brought mine to work Today and am mentally straightening/lengthening the blade and putting a shrunken Superhawk/Compression lock on it.

Sal, thanks for asking. But to be honest with you, in my opinion the Lil' temp cannot be improved. I love mine and will never ever sell it. I think it is perfect as is, and sadly I dont even carry it because I fear loosing it and never getting another.
