I understand you. But, I am not buying enough knives to set any aside as collectors. Whatever I buy I'll use.

i dont own a police either until they make the g10 version ill buy my first one, seems like ive already missed the other versions other than stainless. but hands down i know id rather have a police over that renegade, any other spyderco to carry over that renegade

I love my L1 cree, it's not the most bright light you can get but definately one of the coolest. Built like a tank, easy operation and long runtime. The beam is kinda small/tight but it throws very far so very usable in the woods.
And if you put the F04 beamshaper on it, it becomes a real flood light - perfect for indoors/close up work.
