Well, I just had to consult so many pages, usually when i come back weekly to check submissions, there's the core group of participants, it's so nice to see more ! (Dixit the guy who has not submitted in weeks....)
To make it back to you guys, I'm gonna use the excuse that I was working on a Native Native for a friend
Good to see you back ! Scale work is incredible, your friend should be very pleased .

Winner for the week is this quite fruity Kapara. I haven't carried mine in very long time, but it's a great knife design and this is an excellent picture of it doing something it was designed to do, slice food.

Runner up is, of course, a knife and a fishing pole... Salty has been paying attention to the kind of photos I post, clearly!

Went to my favorite stomping grounds today, Skate Creek, with my wife @hvandyke34 and my dog Sweet Pea. I found this fallen tree along the creek and knew I’d finally found a picture worth submitting. It’s so hard to find something worthy to submit with all the great photos here. Hope you all like this one.

He sure did. Robin is one of our excellent craftsmen on this forum!
By the way sweet picture you posted!
I know its not easy to create a decent picture i have trouble finding back grounds allot myself. But i can tell you your entry is very welcome how more souls we have the more fun it is. In the end its not actually about winning but more about loving our spyders.

Great picture, I am defiantly on the lookout for the right Manix XL. Maybe a MagnaCut Salt or 15v would be pretty great.

A Manix 2XL in a MagnaCut or 15V would be awesome for my wants and needs too. I like that idea.

Thank you very much for appreciating the photo. But the Kapara knife itself is very beautiful and photogenic. And functional, of course

Thanks, it's my first time trying to "engrave" something, I did it with a maths compass with two metal tips to draw the lines and I then used a scriber to make everything deeper, took me some time but it did the job well ! I have an electric thing for engraving but it's so bad, I might invest in some actual engraving equipment later on, to make beautiful bolsters and stuff like that
I'd like to engrave some bone with something stupid like a stop sign or a kitty litter.
