Dye, Ti and ceramic BB! Really hard to photograph the real color, it’s a dark OD Green.

That really looks good.

Where did you get the cage and ball?

Thanks y’all!

You can get the ball cages through Flytanium, and it looks like they sell the Ceramic BB now too. I bought a half dozen or so from a ceramic company a few years ago and can’t find the info now.

I like the green! I added a Ti cage, lightening spring, and ceramic ball (from OCD4EDC) to mine too and it's BUTTERY smooth now.

Count me in, looks great! That cage button perfectly matching the hardware is a great touch as well.

Since the lanyard tube is an integral part of handle integrity on the Manix 2, I've been reticent to do a scale swap, let alone going to a material that isn't as strong as G10...

Welp, definitely available on eBay at this point. I count 15 available, prices ranging from $230-400. eBay never disappoints, and eBay never fails to disappoint.

I never liked the idea of a flared tube to provide structural integrity to the handle, especially on a work knife like a Manix.

This is one of the reasons why I like the AWT scales so much (there are several). They replace the flared lanyard tube with a proper stand-off, and the lanyard tube goes in the trash where it belongs...

Fireside Co. makes some nice Terotuf scales in several colors. I actually might get some one day. My 15V Manix won’t be here until the 27th 🙃

I remember the first time trying to remove the lanyard tube from my PM2 back in the day. Yikes :winking-tongue . Granted it's a little easier to remove on the Manix, but I'm glad there's tools that exist now to help with the process. I'm too cheap for that though and designed my own pusher and 3D printed it. Makes the removal of the flared tube much easier, but agreed, would be nice if it were just a screwed in standoff instead. Also agreed on the AWT's, they're great.

I'd rather pay the $28 and not risk bending my liners.

Maybe with a much thinner tool, but that screwdriver trick causes potentially damaging angles. Besides bending risks, I wouldn’t be surprised if the hole in the G10 got damaged.

It was a post on the Millie pm2 & pm3 club page on Instagram. A couple people in the comments had tried & confirmed it doesn’t mess with the liners etc. to each their own :), just thought the video Could be useful to peeps out there 🎄
