can't believe they discontinued them without making an alternative to the model. One of the best pocket multis ever. I bought some pre-need back-ups when I heard they were being cut from the line up.

I didn't know it was discontinued. It is useful but I recently bought a Leatherman Bond as a EDC rotation. Non locking. UK legal. Great alternative just bigger.

Yes, it’s a great slicer indeed. This went missing for a while, and I later found that it had been “borrowed” for kitchen duties

Bought another MSI from my favorite 80+ year old woman Spyderco vendor at the Hickory gun show yesterday. I was like, what are you doing with a Microtech? She said “I have no idea, buy this thing right now and get it out of here, I’ll make it right!” And she did, I couldn’t say no! 
This is my second one, I did a partial trade and some cash for a Medford with my first one not too long ago, and kind of missed it, I think I missed the blade shape the most. The action, lock up, and edge / sharpness on this one is superb! Microtech’s Ram-Lok is excellent! This one is their most basic MSI, it’ll be a user, today. Wish I would have been lucky enough to find this deal on their machined aluminum handled version, they’re nice!
