Thanks ! Here's a shot of the back spacer. To me the G-10 was finished with just the right amount of texture. Also I always carry tip up RH so the elimination of the other screw holes was a plus for a clean look.

I purchased these from Russia. They made or maybe just sold by Aramis Akhmedov.

Not even sure how I chipped it near the tip. Carved some feather sticks and cut up some apples last time I camped out and the next day it had a big chip. Must of bumped it on something without realizing it.

The former owner stated that it had been given a 'coffee patina'; whether he did it or someone else did I don't know.

I did take it apart and shined/lubed the pivot area on the blade, swabbed out the liners; noticed that the lock bar had been peened to stop vertical play so it will be a good 'User'. I may decide later to flitz off the patina :spyder:
