I knew I had one of these Opinel 8s around somewhere. And found it in one of the kitchen knife drawers, “borrowed” for culinary duties :)

Rosecraft Blades Castorea. It's a button lock flipper with two-tone G10 and a 3.9" D2 blade.

Guess which one is the "other". I've had this and I've been carrying it in my back pocket for a couple of weeks and I've been relatively impressed.

I've never actually owned a Civivi Elementum, the knife that started the modern budget EDC flipper craze.
I've owned, and still own, several other Civivi models and I've always been impressed by their fit and finish. So I figured it was time to fill that hole in my collection and see for myself what all the (10 year old) buzz is about.
I found this one, new but open box, on the bay for $25 + shipping. D2 and micarta.

I think I’ve been very close to buying this quite a few times back when the buzz was a bit more current, but flippers have never sticked around for me, so that playing in the back of my head kept me from fully pulling the trigger. Would be interesting to hear how you like it though.

Micro Praetorian. Fat, chunky, impractical, man I love this little tank!

I had this one for a bit, but didn't stick around. I think I was in my Para 3 phase at the time and just never really clicked with it for some reason. I thought it was a great example of the model though, loved the look of it.
