A NIB Slysz Bowie from a seller on BF.

I've lusted after one of these ever since they were shown at the previous Amsterdam Meet. However, I was able to avoid ever holding one, and thus, never pulled the trigger.

Fast forward to this year's Amsterdam Meet, and fellow forumite IG-88 just couldn't resist handing me his personal EDC Bowie. Ever since that moment my fate was sealed, it melted into my hand and I knew that I'd be thinking about it until I had one on the way.

Impulse buys and unexpected surprises are fun, but there's just something especially satisfying about the arrival of a long awaited spydie-crush that you just know is going to be perfect.

Digi Camo Paramilitary 2 "Birthday gift for my Father's 70th, and first Spyderco!", H1 Salt Dragonfly "my Girlfriend's Birthday also her first Spyderco" , and both a Blue, and Gray Nishijin Glass Fiber Crickets. Just received a Purple "Sprint" Dragonfly last night. Beautiful.

Dark Blue Manix 2 in S110V and BRG ZDP-189 Delica 4 on it's way. I already owned a ZDP Delica but I gave it to my cousin when he graduated from the police academy. I figured he needed a good EDC for work. I missed it so much I had to get another one.

I snagged a Native 5 off of BF that has thunderstorm Kevlar scales, dark acid stoned washed blade/clip and purple liners. Needless to say I can't wait for tomorrow. This will be my first exposure to the Native line. I wanted to wait till the new FRN model came out but I couldn't pass up this opportunity.

My 10th Spyderco is on the way, an Endura 4 in Blue FRN.

Yeah, I guess. I think that the most popular version is the 2, because it combines the best attributes of the 1 and 3. But the Chinook 1 is still pretty desirable, so I was happy to snag a second one. :)
