Model: Spyderco Bow River FB46GP (Dragonfly Salt SE in background)

Chose the Bow River this year as it has been a great companion on fishing trips. The main river that goes through Calgary is called the Bow River, so I thought it would be fitting to capture the Spyderco Bow River while fishing the Bow River!

I have found the size and ergonomics of the Bow River to be perfect for setting up the lines and being easily accessible while also using other equipment.

Thanks for running the contest and the opportunity!

I'm not sure if I've ever entered before, but I thought I would when I saw the deadline extended.

The ParaMilitary 2 is a constant companion for me, and this particular example from DLT Trading in S90V is exceptional. The photo was taken at Fallen Leaf Lake, in the Sierra Nevada, on the occasion of our honeymoon last June. Mt. Tallac rises in the background, and offers a commanding view of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, Tahoe Valley, and El Dorado National Forest.

Since I shoot on an iPhone, and I didn't feel like any of my photos would "blow up" to suitable size, I decided to get a little artsy. I used Illustrator to transform the photo with the likeness of an impressionist painting.

I've been a fan of the Spyderco SpyOpera ever since I got interested in collecting knives. I had purchased one over a year ago and it was exactly what I was looking for and then some, the perfect gentleman's folder that can still be a great user. Unfortunately, I lost that particular SpyOpera while fly fishing a remote river in Rocky Mountain National Park. I eventually got the funds to purchase another one this year, and it gave me exactly what I was looking for once again. This picture is of my new SpyOpera in its rightful home: the north Georgia mountains lying beside a beautiful wild rainbow trout I had just caught before taking the picture.

Thanks Spyderco for this yearly opportunity, we all greatly appreciate it!

The Catcherman has quickly become my favorite food prep knife, with its long, thin blade and its mostly maintenance-free steel. It's also very lightweight... and I like the green handle very much!

Thanks! I was thinking of using a pineapple at first (the Catcherman is also a excellent pineapple slayer ;) ), but it was indeed the red/green contrast that made me choose the watermelon in the end.

This version of the Manix 2, C101GPFG2, hasn't left my pocket since receiving it. A few small modifications has really made it great. Photo is taken on and old fence on my property.

My Para 3 10v REC exclusive. 10v is a great steel and I wish we would see it as a regular production in the Golden knives since Seki get k390. Took the photo today in a pile of dead trees and debris that had been scraped into a pile and left in a field to make room for a new track development that never happened. Too many good submissions for this one to make it, but I wanted to participate and add my support for Spyderco doing cool things like this.

These are my two fluted Natives, S90V with carbon fiber and Magnacut with swapped Ti scales. I was going for a Ying Yang effect here, both in the color of the handles and in that S90V is a high edge retention stainless steel while Magnacut has higher toughness.
