The teal is a bit too flashy for my liking, but I ordered one anyway. 😝 S90V DLC with black liners at this price is too good to pass on.

I will most likely do a blade-swap with a S45VN DLC Digicam model I already have.

this is my wife’s, and she hasn’t noticed, but it would drive me crazy. I’m not gonna tell her. But does the grain difference bother anyone else? Also, one of the scales is noticeably greener than the other.

Another thing I noticed, was it seems like this one has two washers on each side. None of my PM2’s have ever had this. Haven’t taken it apart to confirm, but it sure looks like it. Only noticed because it seemed like the gap in the scales was bigger than usual. The knife seems to operate fine though.

I wonder if those color and g10 grain issues are only noticeable because the color is so light

Got my longer clip screws from Casey Lynch today. Looks good with the Lynch Clip and Bead. His new blacksmith finish goes really well with DLC stuff.

I would think so. A darker color would probably not be noticeable at all. I’m also wondering if the grain showing more is what is making the color appear different.

I just installed mine yesterday. Worked fine this time, but I've had the same issue in the past. This set came with T5 screws?? Tiny slots.

Different model, but the new blacksmith finish looks really good. I'm hoping it holds up better too to wear.

Im bummed I couldn't get mine to go. Yours looks good. Maybe if Casey can get me long enough screws I'll try again. I reeealy don't want to strip the liner though.
I had to ask Casey to send me longer screws for my Manix 2. The stock screws from the stock clip worked, but they were stainless steel instead of a black finish like the ones rmthat he sent. He sent me replacements no cost and no questions asked. He has earned my respect and business.

Casey and his team run an excellent business with great customer support. He took care of my clip screw issue quick. Outside of Spyderco, he gets more of my business than anyone. I got a 'Makers Choice' prybar from him with one of the best anodized colors I've seen. It was this teal color that changes to purple depending on how the light hits it. I messaged him (or his InstaG account rather) and said how much I liked the color and that I hoped he made it a regular option for knife clips and prybars. Not sure how much influence I had on it, I'm sure others must have said it was a great color too... but on his next drop he released his new 'Northern Lights' color.

That's absolutely awesome! I will probably order a pry bar from him next time I have a clip I need to order. Fantastic company and quality!

My two teal PM2's after ditching their fancy pants. 🙂

The DLC (with AWT anodized OD green scales) had been my most carried PM2 during 2023. Both the DLC and hard ano is really durable, and still scratch-free. Every time I thought I had finally scratched it, the "scratch" wiped away with a magic eraser.
