Got mine- super quick and smooth! Not sure if website backend has been improved or if it's just that the MagnaCut mania was so crazy last time.

Re: PayPal, knife swappers on Reddit have been requesting no transaction notes mentioning that it was a knife sale for years. Nobody was ever really clear on what exactly would violate the 'no weapons' policy so a lot of it was probably more caution than necessary but there were definitely people who'd had their accounts frozen.

Had to use my phone without wifi weird. Accidentally purchased 2 hats instead of one :P Early family Christmas present I guess. hahaha

Ordering process was the smoothest I’ve experienced since the MuleTeam project restarted. I’m still regretting that I somehow missed the MagnaCut mule, but I do have a small fixed blade in MagnaCut ordered from another maker.

20 minutes in and still available. With previous mule teams (except magnacut) they were all gone by now. So demand must be much lower now.

Possible, but then I would not expect the website to be this smooth.

Knife is still available and the website is extremely smooth. My only guess is low demand for this one. I feel bad for Sal and the team. How the ******* do you get the correct amount of steel and produce the correct amount of Mules for a demand that can swing so much. This is a great program they have for the amount of headaches it gives them.

Website is smooth, but I thought this was suppose to be solved.

Just got the Spyderco App Notification.

Slick drive over to the store. 6 people waiting rather than the much larger line waiting for the Magnacut. Got my one and wandered around the store a few minutes.

I'm in the 2 or none camp. I can't bring myself to spend $13 for shipping for 1 knife. My OCD needs a matching pair.

That's more how it used to work. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to order another.

As for the poll helping, if it had gone up two years ago, maybe it would have helped. By the time that was posted, the steel was already in house.

I'm an idiot and thought the knife was going on sale at 9AM PST...
