I had it in my cart when I realized today was the day... then I decided against it. I don't really need another Mule right now, even if it's some crazy super steel for $50. Good luck to those who want it!

That was a little nerve racking, but I was successful. I am excited with the renewed Mule Team excitement and hope that it will allow the program to continue. But I wish the excitement was backed up with a little less follow through.

It's gotta be tough trying to estimate demand for these items. It's easy to say right now that the knife market is through the roof, maybe historically high, but my understanding is that Spyderco starts this process as much as a year in advance. Better luck to everyone for the next release!

Looks like I managed to get one but what a harrowing experience, lol
Got on early, added a sheath and G10 scales to my order and waited for the clock to hit the hour mark
Took me about 7 minutes and 3 refreshes to finally get through
I get to the end of inputting all my data and the cart tells me they ran out of sheaths so I have to go through the bulk of re-inputting my data again
Maybe next time I'll just get the blade and wait for later to try and get a sheath/grips

Don't forget that a number of MTs is always kept for SFO store customers. Which is only fair.

I thought I wasnt going to because I also added a boltaron sheath, which spyderco let me add to the cart but then told me was sold out.

So I had to remove it and go through the checkout process again. Luckily I still got it.

Im the opposite. I dont need another knife and dont particularly like the mule, but...
I really dont think Ill ever have a chance to get a fixed blade out of any material even close to this stuff for that cheap.

Spyderco never used maxamet in a fixed blade besides the mule and I feel this might be the same.
