It's fantastic to see the progression of picture quality throughout the years
This year's calendar is proving to become another great one!
My entry for this year's contest:
Forum name: DutchBlades
Model: C92AWP - Spyderco Kopa 3 Flavor
In light of the Kopa's recently released stainless sprint (C92), I figured I'd pay homage to my favorite of the Kopa lineup.
The Kopa is a gem of a knife and one of the best small EDC choices if you're looking for an extra bit of class at this size.
The recent stainless version forms the perfect platform for engraving, whilst the older versions are a showcase for various natural materials.
With a mixture of Pearl, Abalone, and Black Pearl, the variant shown here is the one that made me love natural materials even more.
It's amazing to see the beauty which nature can create at any scale.
That shot is absolutely gorgeous! Good luck man!

The "Viper" thrower designed by the renowned Harold Moeller. Spyderco is manufacturing this awesome blade in the nicely balanced 8Cr13MoV and its no wonder why. There is no better thrower design on the market and its easy for any enthusiast to enjoy. Good Luck to all other entries, there is alot of great photos out there. Cheers.

A Pile of Salt.
The knives are all precariously balanced on each other and a few went for a swim a number of times when the wind caught them during the shoot ... not that they seemed to care! Two more ended up in the naughty corner and don't appear in the image - my Spyderhawk (the orange handle turned my OCD up to eleven even though I love the knife) and the Ladybug serrated as it wouldn't stay on top of the pile with the wind! I tried a few different angles/positions/compositions but kept coming back to this one as I love all the teeth on show!
Living by the coast the Salt series just makes sense - but choosing just one is the hard part... so I don't :) !
Spydercos in the heap (from bottom to top):
Assist Salt
Pacific Salt Serrated
Atlantic Salt
Tasman Salt 2 Serrated
Dragonfly Salt Serrated
Ladybug Hawkbill Salt

This year I am submitting a picture of my Tenacious with carbon fiber scales. This knife was given to me for Valentine's Day; I immediately went outside to take pictures knowing that by the time the contest was up the snow would be long gone here. I very quickly fell in love with this knife and the beauty of it. It is still a staple in my EDC rotation. I think the black blade and the carbon fiber of the scales contrasts well with the white of the snow and the green of the pine to make a beautiful picture.
Thank you Spyderco for the opportunity. Good luck everyone!

For my submission, I chose the D'Allara 3. Descended from the original WTC knife, the D'Allara 3 combines a useful blade shape, an unbelievably ergonomic handle, an innovative lock mechanism and beautiful flowing lines to create a functional work of art. This knife is one of Sal's greatest, but most underappreciated, designs.

My wife has been using this Ladybug Salt as her little gardening knife for years now. She wanted something that she didn't have to worry about leaving outside amongst watering cans and bags of soil and coming back to it covered in rust! I grabbed this shot after she finished up gardening today, a tiny knife with a tiny succulent!

Spyderco Junction
The Junction is my go to outdoors knife; whenever I go fishing, camping, hiking, or hunting I always bring it with me. Carries comfortably and is a great slicer with a thin blade stock. I can't wait to bring the Junction on many more outdoor adventures.

Well done on all the submissions thus far.
Here is my submission for the 2020 calendar:
Celebration
I chose this knife in recognition of the award won by Spyderco at this yearβs Blade show for Most Innovative American Design. This knife is in a class of its own, build quality is exceptional! Looking forward to seeing some sprint run versions of this knife.

Model: Spyderco Poliwog G-10 (C98G)
Cosmic design and ergonomics of Spyderco Poliwog G10 reminds me a spaceship so this year's entry is in cosmic vibe. In a backgroung is a giant black hole that absorbs other space objects and plays with light and represents Spyderco round hole... maybe because almost all well known designers and Stars of knifemaking sooner or later will cooperate with Spyderco :)
