A user from the Spyderco UK Facebook page shared this. Just like Sal said, this knife has received some classic Spyderco CQI. It now has a the split tuning fork spring but with full a full spine. Awesome!

I'm glad someone took theirs apart so I don't have to! Looking forward to getting mine at the end of the week.

I can understand the excitement of zee germanz, Artikel 42, Fräulein Merkel keeping them safe out of danger of a locking one hand opening blade
Or for brexshitters, where there's a wave of stabbings from the gangs of black teenagers, with their locking restrictions
But for los gringos americanos is just another leaf shaped S30V blade with G10 handles in a long line of leaf shaped S30V blades with G10 handles
Why would they import it back over Atlantic :D , I mean los gringos americanos can carry their machetes and Barret 82A1's with APEI rounds at supermarkets and McDonalds, they don't really need slipjoints
Then it must be the red :D
Anyway, one is coming my way :D
I didn't buy more than one, I'm also waiting for an Urban AEBL

Mine is clipped to my Pjs as we speak. Really crisp half stop and full open that "snaps" into place with authority. The red is a classy deep crimson. Oh, and scary sharp out of the box. :)

Thanx Cobra.

Sal any design thoughts you can share about this new UKPK?

The pattern is the same as previous UKPK's. Tom and Doug reworked the back-spacer-tuning fork spring. Actually as Eric would say, we just did our normal CQI. HH wanted Red G-10.

The temptation was too much. One on the way. I was charged the full price of $121. Should have made a comment in the box to avoid the VAT, but didn't. You would think they would see that it is shipping to the US and not charge the Tax. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this one.

Well I know I’ve said this many times before but I’m very happy to see the return of this knife. Some knives really seem to carry the spirit of Spyderco and I certainly consider the UKPK to be one of them. Thank you Sal.

Years ago I wanted to get a G10 UKPK, but missed the boat. I’m chuffed to have one in the mail. CQI is a bonus, and red G10 will be new for me too.

+1
Tom & Doug did a great job. The slip-it action is very good. Have they been working on the Lil Native slipjoint, I wonder...

That’s all well and good. But what does “chuffed” mean? :D

How bad was shipping?
