Seeing all this interest in custom options. I would like to see Spyderco open a custom shop. People seem willing to pay and wait for what they want. Nobody could do a better job at this that Sal and company.

Maybe the time has arrived. Computerization and CNC have allowed the world of the "one off" to become a practical reality. I was thinking a bit less sophisticated. Just being able to select blade material and scale type. I would have loved to have had a more exotic blade steel on my new Military Ti. I own more Spyderco knives than any other. Yes I have drunk the KoolAid.

I just made an online purchase of a leaf blade ENUFF and it made me realize that a sprint run of the Enuff in H1 would be excellent. I mean, isn't there potential for this to be a neck knife? I dunno, is it small and light enough? If so, it would be great to have it in a steel that sweat won't affect.

I change my mind. I would like to see something in CPM REX-121. Maybe a Para2 or Millie. A Native might be good too.

Jess Horn lightweight in any steel, any color. I really want a Horn lightweight. Really badly.
Caly Jr in FRN in any steel. VG-10 would be fine with me. 1095 or SB would be cool too.
Lil Temp in any steel.

A wootz and ivory micarta Chaparral;
an H1 and brass/bronze Chaparral (Captain Nemo edition);
a M4 (uncoated) and lignum vitae or ironwood or reclaimed wood Chaparral;
an orange ffg M4 Manix

He, he, interesting thread...
For me, a Caly jr. with yellow FRN handles, H1 blade and wireclip woul do.
I would also wish the G-10 Navigator be back, with minor improvements (wireclip and maybe FRN handles so we can make an H1 version too)

I really like the Bushcraft, the handle is very comfortable to use and I the blade length, for me, is ideal for general use. Take that base and change up the handle material with micarta or CF and mix blade style and steel, maybe Cruwear, M4, or 3V with a FFG clip point blade.

Its the new knife excitement phase but still .
I think a matriarch/civilian with a liner lock .
And linen micarta scales would be the business .
Edit : new to me @ also the matriarch 2 I just got one hence the above .
On closure there is a clunk , obviously it is contacting something to prevent the blade being damaged.
Exactly where is the stop ? Is it the pivot area portion of the tang ?.
There is a sort of inside spacer but that would mean the serration 5mm from tip would be contacting it.
I can't see that nor the point of contact any ideas guys.
And can the endura scales be swapped straight onto this sorry for all the questions .
Thanks gents ....bk

I'd also love to see an M4, tan G10 Para 2. I thinks it's only a matter of time before we get an M4 Para 2!

Military with Titanium framelock, g10 scale on the non lock side, and a CPM M4 blade.

On most backlocks the area of the tang right before the sharpened edge is what stops it. Often called the "kick" I think? Granted, I've never held a Matriarch.
Not sure on the scale swapping.

Mine would be a Damascus Urban but with a CBBL and carbon fiber handles.
I shall now commence holding my breath.

That is a terrific idea for a sprint. Why hasn't someone put this Knife into the Works yet? :confused:

I'd like to see a damascus Endura/Delica with white stag scales and nickel silver bolsters.
+1 on all the M4 stuff.
