Aluminum foil will provide protection against EMP, though, so my knives won't be affected by that. I'll stop at HD and get some lead and copper sheathing. Lead will protect against the gamma rays and the copper will keep me from getting arthritis while flicking the knives?

the radiation will add 2 HRC to the blade's hardness :D

Wold bank estimate five years to rebuild. I am stunned by latest number of casualties, somehow it is about double in the last few days, still thousands missing. How can they recover from such human loss? I saw a man, on TV. He lost home, children, grandchildren. The only thing left is a key-chain with two pictures of grandchildren.
