I'm out of the office and the proto is in the office. I'll see if I can get Kristi to find and shoot it.

Very cool! Thank you Sal! I did a search for ladybug hawkbill and see many people have been requesting and waiting for this 1 for a long time. I can't wait :D Will it be called the Ladyhawk? Take care, John.

They are the smallest members of the Accipiter group.

I wonder if they modified the handle to fit the blade?

Yeah, I read that in the thread too. It didn't seem like a problem to me really. Like you said other hawks' have some teeth that show.

No, we used the handle as is. We could have, but it's an expensive mold change and we probably won't make too many Ladybug hawkbills in the near future. It's a very specialized blade design and only appeals to a certain group of afi's.

Yeah I figured it'd be a heck of a mold change. Hope to see a pic soon. I really only collect small non-clip Spydercos, and I've been literally wanting a hawkbill Ladybug forever. It truly is literally my dream Spyderco that I never thought would be made. Thanks for listening to the fans Sal, you made this Spydie fan's dream come true.
