...Its an absolute shame....Thats the very reason I don't buy Paramilitary 2. The fakes are so good that you can barely tell the difference

Spyderco spends a ton of money fighting counterfeits. How much would you really need to spend to stop China from ripping you off?

If people didn't buy the fake knives(ie: shop from trusted dealers) Spyderco wouldn't have to spend money fighting the problem. Money they could put elsewhere to benefit themselves and their customer base.

I think it's sad-in that it speaks to the ignorance of the buyer...or some innate animalistic need to believe that Spyderco (and other companies) REALLY sell PM2s for $17 to vendors who mark up to $109 or whatever but because the buyer is now savvy on this "innernet" thang...they have located a "WHOLESALER" who'll sell WHOLESALE to them.

Not a new scheme-we have busted professional shoplifters who steal for organized "rings" who resell stuff at flea markets... That's how they sell Gillette Mach 3 razor blades in 20 packs for $8 (but they'll TELL you "I gotta man who gets tham for me WHOLESALE...")

Looks legit. Did you try scanning the code on the pamphlet?

See, that is what scares the **** outta me. At least I am buying from a reputable place though. When I can see a Civilian on sale for $17.99(http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Newest-S ... 69626.html) I could see why some would resell for $130.00.
