Your Spyderco New Year's Eve And New Year's Day EDC

#1

Post by Water Bug »

Happy New Year! What is your Spyderco New Year's Eve and New Year's Day EDC?

For home carry, I'm EDCing the Spyderco Military CPM Cruwear and the Spyderco Delica 4 Black FRN PE and SE.

For going out, I'm EDCing the Spyderco Caly 3 in PE and SE as well as the Spyderco Assist Orange FRN.

Hope about you?

For me it's the Techno :D :D

Seems to be a perfect odd couple with the Cento3, opposites attract ;)

Whatever is sharp, probably a SB Delica and a SE Endura in the back pocket...

For me it's:

I have tested this on my friends and of some reason they never thought that the original blade with the black scales where very scary looking. They all went with the utility knife idea. So by adding the Rescue Orange scales and lanyard, not a single person reacted negatively when I pulled it out during our barbecue last weekend! :-)

It will be the Lil' Lionspy constantly with one or two others thrown in such as a PM2, Native, Dragonfly, Dyad Jr., or Manix.

I have my New Years Spyders on me now>> First of all I'm giving my user C-111 Captain some time today>> Next I have my workhorse 440V, SE Native for all the extremely rough stuff and I know I will need it tonight for sure  :D

For my PE I just got out the G-10, C-60 Ayoob. I'll be using the FB05 Temperance 1 and AUS-8 SE Catcherman models in the kitchen this evening.

Been a huge fan since my first Rescue back in 1989.

This Manix 2 arrived Monday. Love it. Much lighter than the G-10 version.

Happy New Year

Had to cross the border into beautiful downtown Greenville today, so I carried this Centofante Memory and Turquoise Kiwi...

...plus a UTX-70 and my S&W 637 to maximize my appreciation of the delicious ironies of their 3" blade limit. :p :D

Don't know what will be in my pocket tomorrow, probably a Stretch and a Kiwi, although the Clipless Kopa thread has me considering going with my cocobolo one and would pair up nicely with the bolstered cocobolo Stretch. :)

Well, my Super Blue Caly 3 got me through what might as well have been New Year's Eve last night (still recovering), so I think I'll stick with it today.

I do love the look of the Dragonfly. And such a capable knife in an extremely small and lightweight package! :D

Happy New Year everyone!

Going with the Gayle Bradley and a Dragonfly today ;)
Tomorrow It'll be something different.
Think it'll be an Endura 4 and a Meerkat.
Might go fancy and take the Ti/Bone Endura for a stroll out of the safe queen realms :p

Think I'll stick with the Forum Native that I've had on my since Christmas. Might just pull out my Nishijin R, though. Been a while since that one saw some pocket time.
