Normally not flirting with other brands, but this piece was too nice...
old-school Mini-Grip with 440C and Cuscadi-scales made of californian walnutwood and a carbonfiber backspacer

Thanks to GoldenSpydie for picking me up a factory second Schempp Rock from the sale. I really love it and the Dragonfly is getting some use already as well. Thanks again bro!

I'm glad to see that you got them! Enjoy. I may need a Schempp Rock one of these days after handling that one...what I really want is the old Rock Salt, but those seem a little high-priced these days.

Here's my latest purchase. It's about a week old, but it never made it into this thread, so here you go:

A fellow Aussie collector has taken pity upon myself and my poor Spydie collection. And being the very kind, generous, intelligent gentleman and though I have never met him, I am sure the very handsome man that he is. Has decided to help me improve my collection.

These are 2 of the recent additions.

And yes; :D money has changed hands.

Greetings to all.
Just picked this up this arvo. I love the shape and the thinness of this little beauty. Will probably take over from my chive as my fob knife.
Had to get out in the garden and take some pics.
Another hot day here in Perth Australia. 33 Celsius. Sorry to hear of the horrid weather some of you have suffered recently, I wish all of you the very heartiest of seasons greeting and hope that you have a very Spydie Xmas and new year.

Bought a Salt one from warriors and wonders, and got the dfly from GoldenSpydie who got it from the seconds sale for me. I have terrible luck with Japan models and the always have a bit of horizontal and vertical play, but these two have none! Almost Taiwan quality!

The only thing wrong with the dragonfly was an uneven grind that I tried to capture in this picture. I reprofiled it and it's like new now :D

Holland - I want to see some pics of the Salt 1 after you give it your trademark usage marks. My most used knife is a Salt 1. Love it. Can't wait for the black blade one.

I wish I would have gotten the knife sooner... I graduate in a couple weeks and will be looking for an accounting job soon. This means no more construction work and significantly less opportunity to use my knives :(

No thanks to you enablers I've been on the wagon for almost a year now excluding the Super Blue Sprints. Money has been tight and unfortunately the Spydie budget fell pretty low on the list. The wife surprised me with an early Christmas present today. I'm amazed she knew I wanted it. I think it was a year ago I mentioned a collaboration between my favorite knife maker and favorite pistol maker.

Picked up something a little on the nice side for a song- new old stock for a knock-down price:

Thanks! Part of me doesn't want to land one to quickly... The thought of sitting in a chair for 8 hours sounds awful... almost wish i would have taken engineering or something else haha. Only working 8 hours a day will be nice though, since graduating high school my hours were always 60+ a week during the summer and fall
