I know how spyderco says that the knives are made for cutting only, so I never put any torque on the blade. Only pressed down on the blade when I was cutting.

I've had it since around october. Opened/cloased it about 2-3 thousand times.

Last week I noticed that the blade isn't fixated as well as it was before. There's no dirt or anything in the lock. If I hold the handle in one hand and GENTLY try to move it sideways, I can feel the blade moving a bit.

It has the plastic handle. I should've gotten a metal one. <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Aloha and welcome!

Possibly too much lateral pressure on all them openings...Do you "flick it" open a lot?

My old Pro-Grip felt like what you're describing...but that was from a zillion speed presentations and MBC moves on foam wrapped poles...Not only did I notice lateral play, but also vertical play as well. But hey, after what I put it through, I was amazed it still worked!

God will put you over...if you let Him! Mark 11:23!

Lock Backs do have to have some movement for them to work properly. Just pulled my Endura out of my pocket and it is tight though. You could call Mike at warranty and repair and talk to him. I beleive they are busy at the moment. Lots of shows been happening in the last few weeks and some are over seas. They will get back to you though. Hope this helps, Take Care!!!
